The Art of Paste Painting

Paste painting is a surface design technique using mark-making tools to manipulate pigmented paste to create beautiful decorative paper. These sheets, like marbled papers, can be used in books, collages, cards, and more. This is usually a half-day class, but we’ve added more play, experimentation, and style development time. Students are encouraged to bring acrylic paints in their favorite colors, combs, chunky rubber stamps, or other mark-making objects. Come experiment with us!
All materials will be provided.
